I think us reasonable fans know that we have a few big holes that are preventing us from making a legit sb run. And we are going to lose guys this offseason and the roster probably isn’t going to be as talented. I agree. I said this a year ago that a dismantling of this team is going to happen, and here it comes! As far as Kirk is concerned, he's a 7 to 10 win QB, 11 if he's lucky. I don't care what OL you put out there for Kirk, he's still going to be the same Kirk Cousins.

you guys need to understand we aren't moving on from 2017 rhodes, joseph and rhodes, but the 2020 version. these guys aren't the same players they were so to immediately say we won't be a talented is kinda off base if you ask me. also let's give the coaching staff a break as well. the defense didn't become great form 2014-2017 by accident. this staff did a tremendous job coaching up young players before so who's to say they can't do it again.

And it will get worse with only Theilen to throw too. That season you point out where Kirk had Crowder as his #1? The offense went from 6th best in scoring efficiency, to 18th. I wouldn’t be so sure. #1 not only do we have Thielen, but we have Rudy, and emerging smith (who should get a lot more targets next year, and cook. Those are 3 legit weapons Kirk did not have in Washington. #2 this draft again is deep at wr position meaning if we use a draft pick from round 1 through 3, we should be able to get a quality wr. I think that should be good enough for Kirk. The big thing is beefing up the oline. Especially the the lg spot. Elflein absolutely can not start his year or we will have issues again at that spot. If it means drafting a ot at 25 and moving reiff to lg that might be a solution. No matter what if reiff is still on this team next year, he needs to restructure.

None of those 3 legit weapons had over 500 yards last season. 2 didn't break 400 despite being available all 16 games.

There is a very good chance there is not a receiver as good as Diggs in this draft, an even better chance one doesn't fall to where we will be picking and an even better one than that Rick doesn't realize they are the best WR available when he picks. This is a guy who took Treadwell over Michael Thomas. He lucked into Diggs with his OC and his OC's son pounding the table for him, and lucked into Theilen being a hometown kid and choosing to come here in UDFAs. He is not a good evaluator of WR talent.

If Diggs leaves, this offense takes a massive step back. Remember, he is one of the biggest reason Case Fricken Keenum looked like he could be a legit starter. Why in the world would you give up that kind of talent for a pick that might not amount to anything? Makes no sense. Pure stupidity honestly.

And you need to understand Waynes,Alexander and Harris are all free agents,Griffen has just exercised is opt out option on his contract so he becomes a FA and if you want to move on from Joseph and Rhodes then that's 6 starters you have to replace/resign with no cap room.
I think you need to take off the purple glasses and look at reality,because this team has run it's course and is toast.

no. Let em all go. Only one would i would even consider bringing back is rhodes, and he is no longer playing outside, and reduction in pay.

idk I feel like Harris is more likely to be brought back than Waynes - possibly on the franchise tag. The funny thing is Waynes will probably get more money from his new team than Harris gets from us.

Unless someone is going absolutely bananas for Waynes... Harris has played like a top 10 safety and is likely to be paid like one ($13-15M a year), while I expect Waynes to get something in the $9-11M a year range.

I don't see any way Waynes sign for less than $10M. There are plenty of teams that need CBs and have a ton more cap space than the Vikings,and someone will make him a decent offer.

Have you actually looked at the free agent DT class?? Name 2 who are affordable and play at a better level than Linval.

Why bring back Waynes? He is average at best and starting cb’s that are still young who hit fa usually get over paid. Let some other team over pay him. We need to get younger and better talent at the cb spot. There’s a lot of positions that are going to be turning over this offseason or in the future. I don’t see how anyone cpukd not think we are basically starting a rebuild. I’ll hold judgment until the end of April to see his roster is shaping up, but right now I would guess this team does not make the playoffs.
