Sorry but when people throw out terms like “unconditionally committed” that rubs me the wrong way
I am not unconditionally committed to any player, coach or front office member of this franchise. My conditions for whether they keep or lose their jobs clearly differs yours but that doesn’t make me a “blind follower” “unconditionally committed” or any other condescending label.

Well that’s my point.  No guarantees even if you go through a complete rebuild. But you will definitely have to go through 2-4 years of growing pains to find out. Just be careful what you wish for. We are not the Lions.  Like him or not, Spielman knows football and put together a competitive team. Granted there are too many weak spots but Rick bought enough groceries for Zimmer to make a meal. ( just a ref to Parcels for those with ?) He got us enough talent to get in the playoffs where every team is fighting to be.  And no, I’m not happy to just make the playoffs but does beat the alternative. 
And do you know for a fact that Rick has plateaued? So just an opinion.  

Yep my balls are deflated.  Should have listened to common sense but I’m a die hard Vikings fan. The only way I can explain it is like when a man sees a beautiful woman and is dumbstruck. But damn I’ve been doing this for decades. What’s that definition of insanity - something about doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome. Guilty. 

I know what you’re going for here, but the two don’t correlate.

To point the finger at the defence for a lopsided TOP when the the offence had one drive that didn’t finish in a 3 and out before the 4th quarter is an outrageous conclusion to come to. That’s a pretty self explanatory situation. Anything less than a dominant defensive performance is going to end up with that result given the performance of the offence, that’s not really debatable. And more specifically, who I’m responding to in that comment has clearly displayed his bias on this board for as long as I’ve been here. Maybe delusional wasn’t quite right, but biased was accurate. How about willfully disingenuous, that seems more appropriate for the situation.

Anyways, the current regime (Spielman-+Zimmer) have made the playoffs 3 of the last 5 years, have won 2 of 5 playoff games and kept this team relatively competitive. It’s not specifically your comment that annoyed me, it’s just a build up of frustration with the growing attitude around here. I understand the frustration, and if you want to fire Rick or anyone else, that’s your opinion and I’m ok with that. You have your standards, I have mine. I personally do not want to fire everyone based on the relative success of the franchise under the current regime. And I don’t think it’s outrageous to suggest that this regime COULD improve and put the few missing pieces together to go on a run. My confidence that the WILL do that is certainly a lot less today then it may have been previously, but whether you agree or disagree with that, I think it’s fair to say I’m not basing my preferences on unconditional loyalty.

The front office and coaches really put together a doozy here. Less than 150 net yards and 10 points on offense, and allowing 27 points with turnovers on offense and special teams.
Really pitiful offensive line play, long term problem with the team and its their problem.

Here is what i will tell the spielman haters. 3 of the 5 olinemen have 3 years of experience or less.

Our defense is the typical minnesota defense. Its disgusting. I am tired of watching our smurfs getting trampled by herds. We need to get bigger and deeper on defense. Its not a scheme or zimmer problem necessarily.
