In all seriousness, the lack of pressure on Brees and our banged up secondary are my biggest concerns. Even if we had everyone healthy, Brees is so effing quick to get the ball out and so freaking accurate! It's disgusting! Add in the SUCK that has been our CBs this year ... OH BOY! Could be a doozy!

No team has allowed a lower pressure rate in 2.5 seconds or less than New Orleans (16.5%). The combination of a quick passing game with one of the NFL's best pass-blocking lines has given Brees the lowest pressure rate in the NFL (24.9%).

We need an EXTREMELY EFFICIENT game from our offense. Brees is going to score; that's a given. We need to keep him off the field as much as possible. Also, we've been settling for FGs way too often over the past few weeks, so hopefully the Vikings offense has been saving the good stuff for this game. Score first and score often!

And 13-1 in 14 games since 2006? And how many of those games were even close enough for the refs to realistically have some sort of influence? Until I see that, this stat doesn't mean much.

I heard this stat earlier too. At first I laughed because I think it's silly for anyone to believe the Vikings are actually going to keep the game close enough for the refs to screw us. On the other hand I can't pass up something that smells like propaganda.

Cheffers has been a head referee since 2008, and the Saints are indeed 13-1 when he's the head official for their games. The Vikings are 5-3, which is the 7th best record under Cheffers. He has never officiated a game between the Vikings/Saints.

There have been 109 accepted penalties for 1023 yards against the Saints in those 14 games, and 101 penalties for only 812 yards against their opponents, so despite the lopsided record, it's actually the Saints who get penalized more. The Saints won by an average score of 31.3 to 20.2, and 8 of the 14 games were decided by 1 possession. The only game they lost was in 2015 to the Bucs 26-19 in a penalty fest game. The Saints had 10 penalties for 115 yards and the Bucs 11 for 90.

Cheffers ref'd the Saints 12-10 win over Dallas earlier in the year where the Saints had 9 penalties for 80 yards and the Cowboys 6 for 64. And he did the Vikings 19-9 win over the Redskins. The Vikings had 7 penalties for 74 yards and the Redskins 4 for 46.

And finally, the most important fact of all, he ref'd the Saints playoff game against the Eagles last year in New Orleans. The Saints had 11 penalties for 84 yards and the Eagles just 4 for 30.

Fun fact: He was a side judge during the Moss Moon in Lambeau, if that counts for anything.

Well I got bad news for you in that department. Hughes and Alexander are both out.

Could be good news because now our best CB, Hill gets to finally play more. Sometimes the only way to get our best players on the field with Zimmer as HC, is circumstances. *thumb_up*

This has as much relevance to the game as the price of a ham sandwich.
The crews are all star crews,so they haven't worked together all season.

Lol. Not looking to make excuses just stating a statistic brought up on radio show. Also brought up an interesting note about Payton and how he coaches. My excuses for them losing is when they do lose it’s mostly because our offense gets shut down and we do nothing to adjust. The last Packer game did we do anything different? Roll outs or anything.

I'm put off by the inconsistency play of the team under Zimmer (2014-2019) especially games where the team get blasted and doesn't seem prepared. My last straw comment......good point. I think this way because of Zimmer. Love the guy, but there have been specific games his viking teams have laid an egg. If we somehow get blown out on Sunday I'd like to think it has a great deal to do with the main man (HC).
