At some point he deserves the blame. All of the pro Cousins bobos, not saying you, are always pushing every single weakness the team has as some reason we lost. It's never about him overcoming deficiencies on the team.
I always go back to the Colts with Manning and they're winning 12-14 games a year, the lost him for the year and they win 2 games. Then then next year they've got Luck and they win 12 games again. You can't tell me that colts team that won 12-14 games with Manning and then 2 the next year didn't have a number of holes and issues that a true franchise QB like Manning, and then Luck the next year as a rookie, covered up. Sometimes it's on the QB to elevate the team. We paid Cousins a lot of money to be that guy, have we seen the ROI that we should be getting? Will we in the future? I just don't think so.
I will add, and I've been saying this on MVN for a couple years now, I really hope I'm wrong. I'd love to see Cousins take us deep and possibly to a super bowl and maybe even win... But I haven't seen evidence that it's going to happen.
