Sucks it didn't work out. Our backups beating a division rival's starters? Wouldn't have mattered this year, but I think it's something to be optimistic about moving forward. People can say what they want about Zimmer and Spielman, but our team has some pretty decent depth, especially defensively. That was on display today.

We also haven't lost back-to-back home games since 2016, until this week. Hate to go out this way. Was a sad walk out of US Bank Stadium earlier. Boo!

You better be optimistic because what you seen today will be our starters for 2020 for the most part. I'm not kidding we have 22 in house FA and no cap. Many of the guys on D will be starters next year. So many of our 1 and 2 will be gone.

Just a couple weeks ago I was fully engaged. I really did believe we were going to win these last two home games and go into the playoffs as a dangerous 12-4 team.

Now it feels like what it is. We a 6th seed team just there to fill out the field only.

I know the feeling all too well. Deep down even I thought we would most likely win these final 2 games and end up as the 5th seed at the very least. I always knew there was a chance the Vikings would Viking up the joint however, and even when they do it, it still catches me off guard somehow lol. Damn Vikings, got me again. It really is amazing how so much can change with the team every year and yet the Vikings still find a way to Viking. It's almost supernatural at this point.

Kirk burnt my last straw last week with that putrid performance in the biggest moment under the bright lights again. That was the one. That was your moment. That guy is a DA's dream. The proof is in. The State rests. We the jury find the evidence overwhelming.

Mike Zimmer is not great. He is merely good. He is OK. Like those funny commercials when ok is not ok...lol.
I believe anything short of a total meltdown next week. In which he makes several very questionable coaching decisions that cost his team he will be back for a 7th season. Maybe ownership decided at the time they signed on to that $84 million contract that barring total embarrassment they were going to let all 3 Mike, Kirk and even Rick have these 3 years to do it.

That makes next year the lame duck year. One in which we will be losing a good number of FA's and Mike's beloved defense will be taking a number of hits he will likely not deal with well.

They really need to show me something great next week. They need to be what they say they are. They need to sell me on their believe if they do indeed have one.
My fear? Mike will be Mike and Kirk will be Kirk. Combined it will not be good enough.

I'm ready for a new direction. I hit my wall. When ok is not ok? Well right now for me.

Playing nasty means pushing/shoving/cutting/blocking/spitting/punching/holding/cursing etc...... I take it you didn't watch the game. Manwhich wasn't sacked.

He's a big boy that Oli. He got caught holding on a 3rd and 1 play where Boone ran right for 14 yards. We had to punt but I believe the offense put together a few scoring drives after that while the two of them (Oli,Samia) were on the field.

IMO after 15 games they are what they are. We can hope they all get up for the game and the coaches come up with a great gameplan but I really don't think playing a meaningless 16th game was going to be the difference between losing and getting their asses royally kicked... or maybe, possibly winning.

I respect your opinion, but I do not agree that is the best course to ready a team for the playoffs.

Would I play my prime running back? No way ... especially with his past injuries and artificial turf.
