Talking Points:
This was one of the most embarrassing home loses in the Zimmer era. The offensive line was unprepared and over matched and overpowered the whole game.
The offensive play calling by the OC was horrible and the execution by the offensive players was even worse. Cousins was very bad but it was a by product of the horrible play calling & bad offensive line play that gave him very little time in the pocket and very few clean pockets to throw from. The defense played well enough to win by creating many turnovers and giving the offense many short fields. But the offense could do nothing but kick a field goal when given the ball by the defense on the packers 10 yard line. They did have one good TD pass to Diggs, but that was it the whole game.
Key mistakes made in this game
1) OC falling to adjust in the ist quarter and keeping a 6th offensive line man and keeping a tight end in the backfield to give Cousins some time to throw to the Wr's
and help open up wholes in the running game.
2) Switching to Abdulla earlier in the ist quarter as Boone was not productive.
3) Diggs on the reverse pass to Cousins, stop for a second and set your feet first then throw to him don't lead him, don't attempt the throw when you are running off balanced and lead Cousins as if he is a WR you are tring to hit in stride. throw directly at him.
4) Zimmer not going for it on 4th and 1 yard in the third quarter, Dumb we could not stop them in the second half. You have to be able to make the yard and give your team a chance to score points and win not put back out your tired defense again.
5) Continue to play Rhodes when his receiver kept beating him on all routes & he caught 13 passes for over 100 yards

Changes that need to be made right now before playoffs.
We need to get bigger & stronger on the OL. Put Collins in at one of the G positions and Samina at other G for the last game and see how they do and if there is major improvement. IF there is continue into the playoffs with them. I would consider moving Oneil to left tackle and having Hill & Udoh compete at R tackle.
We will need a bigger & stronger O-line in the playoffs against good D-lines. Reiff, Elflein & Klein all deserve to be benched due to their pathetic play tonight.
Kuback needs to take a stronger role in the offensive game plan and game day play calling and adjustments. Our current new OC is over his head against top defenses.
Rhodes needs to be benched. Hill is our best cover corner. he is tall rangy and fast. He can cover top receivers one on one and do well. Rhodes has not played well since his injury and seems to have lost his speed. He is to slow right now. He is getting beat about 83% of the time. He has to be benched. Hill needs to start
On all passing downs DT's Joseph & Stephen have no business in the lineup. Put Weatherly & Odenigbo in at DT's with Griffen & Hunter. Bring Hercules in at WLb and have him or Barr blitz occasionally on passing downs with your top 4 pass rushing lineman that will help collapse the pocket and help your Db's
Zman needs to come up with better blitz schemes to put pressure on QB in crucial 3rd down passing downs.
Changes needed for next year
Next year I would use all my draft picks on these positions only bigger & stronger G, T that can pass protect on offense & DB's that can cover man to man DT that can rush the passer from inside, upgrade at WLB. that's it no other positions would I consider. I would also try to upgrade these same positions through Free agency
If our current OC does not do much better for the rest of the upcoming games I would demote him back to QB coach and make Kuback the OC next year or find an innovative successful OC from a top college program.
