Get the 6th seed then go from there. That's in the Vikings control and the hurdle that they need to clear. With this team you don't put the cart ahead of the horse.
The league is a tangled web of a bunch of games that affect other teams, and it begins in week 1 when everyone controls their own destiny. Go 16-0 and you don't have to worry about anyone else. The more games you lose however, the more you have to rely on other teams to help you out. You eventually get to a point where you lose enough and begin to wonder if you even belong xD.
Like the Vikings last year at 8-7-1, while getting stomped by the Bears in week 17 so we suddenly had to start scoreboard watching the Eagles game. Ummmm why do we want this sorry ass team to make the playoffs again? So we can suffer through one more humiliating defeat, at Chicago no less?
Do you know what I found more enjoyable than getting stomped at Chicago in the playoffs? Watching the Bears not rest their starters to knock us out so they could play the Eagles instead, and then losing to the Eagles lol. Good job Nagy, you passed up an easy playoff win to secure a meaningless regular season win.
