So as long as were are average in the NFL with our GM, everything's fine, lol.
Style points and participation awards are what's important to some.
I take it the ones that are ok with mediocracy are casual fans that think it's all entertainment.
Just because some of us like to remain positive, that doesn't mean we care any less, think it's all entertainment, or think that everything is always all rainbows and freaking lollipops.
Just because we don't always think the sky is freaking falling, that doesn't mean we're always happy either. We're not. Why? Because if we're ACTUALLY hopeful for the freaking team ... we have expectations! We're the ones with the expectations to do well, so when things go south, it freaking sucks. It HURTS! It's a heck of a lot harder on the emotions than, "They suck! I knew they'd suck! They'll always suck!" Casual fans? I think not. We just choose to carry ourselves a little differently. It has nothing to do with "being okay with mediocrity."
Some people choose to remain hopeful that things can improve. And why not? Because Vikings?
