Why can’t some people see it’s a team game and you can only go as far as your weakest link allows. Our weakest link was exposed last weekend and some people can’t even see it.
Even the great Tom Brady is sitting this weekend out cause I guess he’s not good enough anymore.

Because all teams in playoffs now have QB's who can run (they don't always have protection), extend plays and are just better QB, period. I would take ANY QB in playoffs from wild card game to now over Choke Cousins, ANY DAY.. Please stop this madness of Cousins being a good QB. Thanks

Yeah like Rodgers, the prototypical running QB or Jimmy G. Does the G stand for gallop? Look at his rushing stats - every game but one in single digits and two games with negative yardage. Where’s the list of running QBs that win championships in the NFL? Don’t let facts get in the way of your hatred for Cousins.
Maybe you should use words like mobile or pocket awareness because saying the QBs in the playoffs can run is weak.

We have no better option right now then Kirk. I wish he inspired more faith in me. I just don't see how we can improve at this point. He has very good numbers but most times comes up small in the big games. That is a bothersome trend.
I don't want him long term anymore. I hope they don't sign him out long term and trap us further.

jimmy actually looked extremely shaky vs us last week. He got bailed out by shanahan calling 125 straight running plays and our run defense deciding not to show up

Bucky Brooks tweeted this yesterday after watching Mahomes dominate the AFC championship game. Based on his definition can we say Cousins is a franchise QB? If not then we need to make plans to move on from him after next year. It starts with drafting a QB in the early rounds this year and beyond until we find him:

The term “franchise” QB is loosely thrown around these days. What you’re seeing from Mahomes is what the term should mean. A dominant payer at the position with the capacity to take over the game when needed. If your QB can’t do that, he’s not a franchise player

Teddy Bridgewater, Christian Ponder, Tarvaris Jackson. Tell us, who is going to be the next great QB in the Draft. This should be easy. After all, it's not like 50% of 1st round QB's turn out to be Bust's.

I think that's Rick's approach. If you don't pick any you cant fail. Problem is he fails in FA as much as the draft. If you cant identify the QB position you may as well be a greater at Walmart.

When you pick for need out of desperation or go into FA you will fail doing the same. What Spielman is know for is picking the next name out of the hat when there's a run on a needed position vs going another route. Just think how much that has cost us in draft picks and missed talent because he had no idea how to identify a QB. Just ignore what you suck at is just as bad as trying if not worse.
