Well isn't that ironic then lol? Because the pro-Kaepernick crowd seems to be suffering from a severe case of double standards here.

Ohhhh look, Wobblybits did something political and made his employer look bad when they told him not to, so f*ck that guy, he gets what he deserves because I don't agree with him politically. But ohhhh that poor Kaepernick, how dare his employer fire him over something they didn't want him doing because it made them look bad. It's an injustice because I agree with him politically.

And I don't know where you stand on the whole Kaepernick issue, but this post wasn't aimed specifically at you, it's aimed at the pro-Kaepernick crowd. They know who they are.

It's not an inconsistency when the nature of what Kaepernick does is quite different than Wobby. You're missing the critical part of this in that Wobby is being paid to be a soulless social media pimp for the team.

If you want that job, you basically need to shut up unless you're saying "Yay Vikes!" on social media. You can play QB or run the accounting department and have different permissions.

So when I call out the apparent hypocrisy, I'm just being sensitive lol? I see nothing inflammatory in any of those tweets, just a guy sharing his right leaning views, and supporting the sitting democratically elected US president, so if that's why he got fired, what else am I supposed to think? I see people get fired, banned, and deplatformed all the time for merely having right leaning opinions. I don't see it happening to lefties. I play in both circles, unlike all the chickenshits who never venture outside their preferred echo chamber, so I know double standard BS when I see it.

It makes me want to see the policy that they have on this issue specifically. Does everyone working for them get held to the same standards? Are lefties getting fired for sharing their left leaning, divisive opinions on their public accounts too? Do you not understand how important that is, or are you just another tool with double standards?

But hey, like you said, maybe it was something else, but right now we don't know what that is. The only thing I see is him arguing with lefties, which shouldn't be a firable offense in my book. Unless maybe he was given fair warning and kept at it anyway, and everyone else is held to the same standard. That's the only evidence we have right now though, so I reserve the right to change my opinion about it and him if I'm presented with more inflammatory evidence later, because that's how you at least remain internally consistent.

I'm personally not against the legalization of weed as long as alcohol remains legal, but I support someones right to be against it themselves as long as they afford me the same right to my opinions.
