If he's a team-first guy, and they are winning, why would he care? Like Raptorman said, he's getting his money regardless.
Would everyone from Diggs to Thielen to Bisi Johnson love fifteen targets a game? I am sure they would, but if Cousins is only throwing 20 passes a game, opportunities will be limited. At this point, that strategy has worked. Odds of it working long term are probably not great, do be ready when the game comes that you have to throw 35-40 passes.
That game may come sooner than we think.
Washington had success throwing slants and going to their backs (while Chris Thompson at least). If Chicago stifles the running game, Diggs, Thielen and Rudolph are probably going to have to play a larger role than they have thus far.
Diggs will get his opportunities, but if he does end up with 500 yards and the Vikings are 12-4? Boo-fricking-hoo. And, if he wants out, trade him to Washington for Williams straight up.
Note i didn't say anything about him wanting a trade. I dont agree with that idea. I was just noting his possibly being unhappy about 101 yards after 3 games, and that is fuel for those kinds of rumors. And that's all I think it is, a rumor
