Well, he was on the injury report with a bad ankle. And if he has surgery on it...............So it would have to be hard for a coach to claim he didn't know about the ankle.

Right, he was Questionable to play (because he was on my fantasy team that lost!), but it's hard to say whether it was bad enough that he could gut it out or not. He caught 3 passes for 26 yards and didn't play with a noticeable limp, and he ran off the field with no sign of pain at all. I wonder if the Bucs' athletic trainer looked at him mid-game? If Brown was hurt, you'd think he'd do the logical thing and talk to the trainer and potentially have it looked at / taped up.

Because he's claiming he was cut, therefore, didn't have to do what the Bucs said. Didn't Arians say immediately after the game he wasn't talking about Brown because he was no longer on the team? That would mean Brown's story is true. Or, at minimum, they cut him right after the game. Either way, how can the Bucs still call the shots?

But I thought it was later revealed that he wasn't cut, and they planned to suspend him. That would keep him on the team.

I see he claims to have had an MRI... so he'd have the grounds to make a grievance with the Bucs if his ankle is that bad. I'm still a bit puzzled on how it is described to be "beyond painful", but showed no signs of that from what I've seen. Maybe I could believe it more if he wouldn't have yeeted his jersey into the stands and run off with no signs of impairment.
