Mond will have infinitely more passing yards than Sloter will ever have, that is pretty much a guarantee at this point.

sounds like a PPA prediction that Sloter will never play in an NFL game... b/c negative passing yards on one play would still not equate to infinite

Correct. Sloter will never play a snap in the NFL. Same as me.

Technically that means I am as good a NFL QB as Sloter I think.

Not really because of skill or anything though, but because that's just how the gutless NFL works. Nobody takes chances, they all take the safe route. Mond is the safe route and Kyle is a risk. That's why so many of them have empty trophy cases and will never be remembered. A lot of fans prefer that safe route too apparently

I certainly wanted to see him in action as well but we are not the only team to evaluate him and not find that he has starter potential. He had ample opportunity with the Broncos, Cardinals and Bears to show he could be a legitimate starter. Elway didn’t see it in them. He wasn’t impressive enough in Detroit to even be the backup to Stafford. Chicago was a hot mess and he didn’t show enough to have them give him a shot.

So it’s not just us. I would certainly be happy if he became the next big thing but I’m not holding my breath

Based on what? He compiled a 125 QB rating in his preseason career against 3rd stringers, then Zimmer booted him out the door to save roster space for a 8th CB or 3rd FB. Well I admit you have invested significantly more effort into his career than I have so I’m probably not going to go on a point by point rebuttal. And to be totally honest I liked him a lot when he was here as well. I did take some time to quick look up his career stats and I thought I would post them

I certainly don’t want to watch Mannion. I would be much happier splitting time between Mond and Kyle to see if either was an upgrade to Cousins. But I am not buying into any notion that one potential franchise QB could find their way through like 5 NFL teams and come away not only undiscovered but unable even on terrible teams to warrant so much as a look outside of garbage time against third stringers.

But hey he is still young and maybe he will blossom. At one point coming out of college I was on the bandwagon for Ricky Stanzi. Man I wanted him to be that guy who became the man. But I think he is probably selling insurance or something
