TRISTAN WIRFS
T, IOWA HAWKEYES
According to Marc Morehouse of The Athletic, Iowa junior T Tristan Wirfs played six series at left tackle and five at right tackle during Saturday's 30-0 win over Rutgers.
Wirfs (6'5/322) is viewed by many as the top draft-eligible offensive line prospect in college football, due to the combination of skill set, athleticism and strength. Feel free to add versatility to the list of attributes, as the junior tackle was used at both spots on Saturday. When Wirfs was at left tackle senior Levi Paulsen was on the right, with sophomore Mark Kallenberger serving as the left tackle when Wirfs was moved over to the right side of the line. Not only did this show off the Day 1 draft prospect's versatility, but it also allowed Iowa to spread out some reps in a game that wasn't all that competitive.

Wirfs has declared for the draft as expected. First-team all-Big 10 and a projected 1st round pick. Not sure where mocks have him but he would be an obvious choice for the Vikings if available.
