I live in minnesota .im not trolling. The username I picked is due to the pattern of horrible QB choices the Vikings have made. They actually ET one go that had a great season and way overpaid an average at best QB which is why I call him the 85 million dollar mistake. They should do the right thing and trade up to get a legit QB but as somone else pointed out they are horrible at drafting QBs. To expand on that comment they are horrible on drafting offensive skill players. Their D rocks, thank god. But they have to get real on offense.

To be fair, I don't think Keenum would have replicated that season. They had to choose between Teddy, Sam, Keenum, or someone else. Like it or not, Cousins was the best option on the market in 2018... and yeah, he definitely didn't get the job done. I'm not sure that fault was all his. Yeah, he needs to cut down on those turnovers... but he needed a decent run game to operate his play action skills, and he had none.

The only thing I don't get is how he supposedly did well under pressure yet seemed to really suck under pressure. The other thing is that he could make some incredible throws... and then just stopped. I don't have a good explanation there.

Well it turns out you don't need all that high of a draft position to land a franchise QB. Some pretty good ones were still on the board late, like Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Russell Wilson, Kirk Cousins, and Drew Brees to name a few. Then think of all the busts like Leaf, Russell, Mirer, Bradford, Vince Young, Leinart, Bortles, and Ponder.

Roetlisberger 11th and Mahomes 10th both went right around when we took Ponder 12th. That's why I don't want to see Spielman draft another QB. He's just awful at drafting QB's. Maybe if Kubiak or Stefanski suggested someone specific they wanted to groom.

I would only trust him drafting a QB if he was a no brainier, generational talent #1 overall. If my wish came true, they would try to win it all in 2019 with Kirk. If it fails again, then tank for Trevor Lawrence in 2020 to get him in the 2021 draft. I believe he is a generational talent at QB.

Sunshine from Remember the Titans... He has perfect mechanics, 6'5", strong arm, and shredded every team he faced, most notably Alabama in the NCAA Championship game, as a true freshman. He could be the #1 overall pick this year if he was draft eligible.
