There is nothing mediocre about being the best, most succesful HC in the past decade not named Belicheat.
Whether your reffering to McCarthy or Tomlin, the point remains the same. Both of them at the point in their tenure that Zimmer is at now, had done far better, and that was PRIOR to either of them hitting the prime of their respective tenures.
And before you start rationalizing nonsense excuses for why Zimmer is better despite being significantly less successful and all around worse, ill let you know right now that Zimmer in his first 5 years as HC has had BETTER QB play then McCarthy or Tomlin had in their first 5 years.
What's it like living in your very own reality?
Anyway, about your boy Tomlin, just saw this:
Despite many years with Big Ben, the best WR and RB in the league, a top 5 OL and a defense littered with 1st round picks, the Steelers have won 3 playoff games since 2010.
And it's laughable that you conveniently want to go back to Tomlin's first five years, instead of a head-to-head match-up which actually gives Tomlin the clear advantage. I wonder if it's because he's been a giant disappointment since then? Oh, and look at that team right now. What a joke!
Oh, and let's not pretend the team Zimmer took over was even close to what Tomlin got to inherit. The Steelers won the Super Bowl on February 5, 2006. Tomlin accepted the HC position on January 22, 2007. Get a grip. "Oh, but Tomlin did great at the start of his HCing career!" LOL.
