Christian Ponder is hands down the Vikings worst QB. I would consider Tarvaris, but Ponder was drafted in the 1st round and was expected to be a franchise guy. And he was given every opportunity. TJoke wasn't taken until the last pick of the 2nd round and there really wasn't any expectations for him because Culpepper was in his prime. Although Childress did try to thrust him into that role in 2007 AND 2008 for whatever reason.
It has to be considered. But even based on the stats Jackson was marginally better. His YPG is down only because he came off the bench in a lot of games. If you want to call the stats a push then we have to defer to expectations to break the tie.

I mean should we hold it against TJack because Childress was smarter than Frazier, or did Ponder in fact get more of a chance because of where he was drafted and how much we were paying him? Ooooo there we go, lets break it down by how much we had to pay per yard. Vikings only.
CAREER EARNINGS $/ATT $/YARD $/TD
TJack $ 3,846,000 $5001.30 $ 900.28 $137,357.14
Ponder $10,158,698 $7948.90 $1494.81 $225,748.84
Teddy $ 6,850,283 $6663.70 $1143.24 $214,071.34
Checkmate TJack haters. At least his suck was a bargain. Heck even Teddy was a bargain compared to Ponder and we even paid him $2.4M to literally do nothing for 2 years.
