It's that time again. Let's dive in and see what the Saints fans have to say about SNF. Maybe something like: "Diggs! Sideline! Touchdown! UNBELIEVABLE!" ...okay, probably not...

What they're saying...
Joe Buck, huh? ...on SNF?
@instructivescholar , is that you?
More love for Cousins:
Wow, really?
Here is another clueless Saints fan! ^
What?! ^
You should see some of the Eagles fans then!
If Cousins always plays well against the Saints, I think I like him even more now!
Not a lot of predictions or anything, but what do you guys think about what they're saying?
As always,

What they're saying...
Alright Saints fans, lets play a drinking game. Everytime the words "Minneapolis Miracle" is uttered, take a shot. Yes this is your warning, Joe Buck will be insufferable this Sunday night.
Do we send out a 3 QB package with Brees, Bridgewater and Hill? Just for fun?
I don't really feel a lot of hate going into this game, surprisingly.
Zimmer said he expects the Saints to come in with a chip on their shoulder because that's simply who they are as a team under Payton. He also praised Brees as a Hall of Fame quarterback and how accurate he is at 39 years old. Don't really feel any hate here, it comes with a level of mutual respect.
Of course, this game is a big deal for fans like me who vehemently hate the Vikings, but I don't really get the same level of animosity team to team like when we play the Falcons or Panthers where there is trash talk and a lot of chippy stuff or even Tampa Bay whom tried to run the score up to 50 on us and had Mike Evans going off in the media.

Let’s be honest. Going back to Minnesota and winning would definitely make me feel better about last year. My only consolation was they enjoyed that miracle fairytale for one week....then back to reality.
One reason Saints will defeat Vikings...
Kirk Cousins.
Saints match up well against him much better than when Keenum was Vikings QB.
(we got this)

I remember Cousins shredding the shite out of us last year in the dome...took Brees going God Mode for us to pull out a win.
43-57 for 646 yards 7 td's 0 ints
good talk
good talk
Keenum imo made us look stupid.
With Cousins we now know his tendencies and will manage him better.

Im not worried about Cousins or the dam Vikings
The Rams is a whole different matter.

I really think Cousins is Brees 2.0
Dude has a similar work eithic and understanding of the game. Except with a cannon as a Arm.

Saints lose Sunday, but give the Rams their first loss.
More love for Cousins:
The frick??
You must've missed last year's game when he shredded us...
If you did, then go back and check the 2015 game. He had a perfect passer rating.

Whatever the case, I’m pretty sure that I’m going to have to swallow a lot of medication Sunday.
If I see Grandma Millie in the stands I'm turning it off.
To me it just seems this rivalry continues to get better and better. Both fanbases do not like each other. We mock their "Skol" chant and they mock our "Who Dat" chant.
It all started when they beat us in our first playoff appearance ever. Then, when we finally were able to get our first playoff victory, the Vikings beat us in the next round. Then we beat them in the NFC championship game (losing championship games is just what the Vikings do) and went on to win the Super Bowl. Then last year the Minneapolis Miracle happened. This rivalry keeps getting better and better.

I am still dumbfounded as to why the Vikings are always so benevolent towards us. Why don't they act that way to the other 5 teams that they've lost to in the Conference Championship?

Malevolent is the word I think you meant to use. I’ve noticed that too with the fan base as a whole but individually they all seem to respect us. Maybe it’s because I’m overweight. Personally I think they just have spent years being outshined by the Packers and can’t get over it.
Doesn't feel like much of rivalry outside of the fans.
I was at our first playoff game where they gave us a beatdown. I have still not completely gotten over it.
That 44-10 beatdown was my first ever game in the dome. I was like 6. I don't think I've ever really gotten over it either.
Then that Culpepper fumbled snap 2 point conversion just exacerbated things to a point that just seeing those purple uniforms brings on the anger and disappointment from so many years past.
Even though we finally got the last laugh by beating Favre to a pulp and winning XLIV while they are still ringless - even after last year's debacle - I still cannot stand seeing them win anything. We better bring it Sunday night.

I find the Vikings fans' continued antipathy both amusing and validating.
For my own view, I don't see an upcoming Vikings game with any more or less excitement, and it's strictly on how good each team is and where we are in the season. The only little extra boost is that if we win, I can chuckle to myself a little more. If we lose, it's just another L.

I know the Falcons are the main rival, but I feel the more they play the Vikings may become the major rivalry soon, at least in a national and historic sense.
Majority of the fan base is hard to tolerate. Just one little avenue of it last year after the miracle game, their fans were still trolling saints fans online during pre game of their nfc title game with eagles... I mean, really?!
You should see some of the Eagles fans then!
I haven't completely gotten over the dagger-in-the-heart sudden death kill shot by Minny in the final seconds of NFC Divisional Playoff game last season.
It was Saints 24 to Minny 23 with 10 seconds left. Minny was on their own 39 yd line with no timeouts.... you know the rest of the story.
So, my question is, how much does this event weigh on the Saints players going back into US Bank Stadium in primetime this Sunday night?

Meh, they won the game fair and square.
Everybody was butt hurt, myself included. But I think we have bigger ambitions this season.
Fortunately I don't think the Vikings offense has ever really gelled in 2018 with Cousins at the helm. They even sputtered this past week with the Jets until the 2nd half.
How much will it matter? Not much when Brees and company are slicing that defense up like a roast!

The Vikings were the "In" team last year. Undefeated for much of the season but couldn't ride that wave into the Superbowl. In fact after we exposed them, the Eagles ate their lunch in the NFCCG.
They've made changes hoping they would be for the better, but they don't have chemestry like they did last year.
Besides, the -ahem- got blown out by the Bills earlier this year.
Any team that gets blown out by the Bills has fallen in importance no matter when or where it happens

The Vikes scare the **** out of me. They have a dangerous offense and our defense isnt exactly solid. We're good against the run, but against the pass...yikes.
Cousins is good. Thielen is a monster this year. And Diggs is a playmaker. And let's be honest here...our secondary isnt exactly making life rough for opposing QBs. What do we have, 1 interception?
If the defensive line doesn't pressure Cousins and the secondary doesn't make some plays, this is gonna be a long and frustrating game.

Unfortunately, Cousins is known to bring his "A" game against the Saints.
Then again that was with the Redskins. Different team, different season, different offense.
