Wow...
Larry Fitzgerald has made 11 Pro Bowls in his career. Larry Fitzgerald's QBs have combined for 2 Pro Bowls in his career. by sip-em_bears
The only WR in NFL history with more Pro Bowls than Fitz is Jerry Rice. Rice's QBs combined for 5 MVPs in his career (Joe Montana '89/'90, Steve Young '92/'94, and Rich Gannon '02) while Larry has only had 2 Pro Bowl QBs in his career (Kurt Warner '08, Carson Palmer '15).

Yeah. Fitz is special and a true professional. But I want to talk about "PED" Peterson instead.
He's been obviously unhappy recently - publicly. Now we know a bit about why. What we don't know yet is if anyone in the organization is also involved with the PED use. If there is someone else, look for heads to roll.
He wanted to have his contract reworked so he would not lose so much salary (~$3+ mil) while suspended - as if it were due to him, even if he caused his own problems. Nobody in fandom is sure if that would even be allowed by the NFL... or why he would deserve special treatment by the Cards when his actions are causing the team hardship for 6 games this season - no "shutdown cornerback".
He's acting like some juvenile, blaming everyone but himself. NO attempt to say he's sorry, or made a big mistake, or anything at all other than cryptic tweets referring to his friends and what they tell him.
This guy is/was a team captain and supposed example for younger players. I'm thinking those days are over.
He also had a hissy fit months earlier saying he wanted to be traded, but that blew over and all was supposedly forgiven and forgotten...
I would not be surprised if he is put on the trade block at some point later this year . . . enough is enough. He's a good player but when distractions and bad examples become too much, parting company becomes easier, even if it reduces chances to win some games.
The Cards have been known for having fairly high moral standards, and IMO Peterson will have his ticket punched at some point and shown the door. Too bad, given what Peterson could have had for his football history.
It will be sad but interesting to see what happens in the future.
PS: Larry Fitz sold his Phoenix mansion the other day for just under $5 million, to a baseball player. He has said he will play one more year for the Cards - so it appears he is getting his ducks in line for an eventual move to MN. Meanwhile, I doubt he will be living in a tent in the desert - in case any of his friends are worried.
