Cordarrelle Patterson (hip) said he was not 100 percent during Sunday's Week 6 loss to the Lions.
Patterson was listed as probable, but wasn't healthy enough to play a full complement of snaps. He said he should be next week. However, Patterson's effectiveness remains a major concern as he now has just 17 catches for 204 yards and no touchdowns through six games. "He's the second most targeted guy on the team ... If he wants the ball, tell him to get open," said coach Mike Zimmer.

Prior to the season, there was a lot of hype about 2014 being a breakout season for Cordarrelle Patterson. He did have that big rushing day in week one against the Rams, but he has done little else since.
The knock on him coming out of college was that he was raw, did not run good routes, and needed better catching technique. These were areas that could all be learned with coaching and dedication.
That begs the question, is Patterson getting better? Is he being coached up? Is he dedicated, or is he just reading his own press clippings? Can he take the next step?
I have seen sloppy routes, lack of separation, and a less than stellar knack for the football. Once he has the ball, he is dangerous, but he is not doing the little things that make a great receiver.
