I for one am very happy the Packers didn't get him. I enjoy how bad their defense is, and it's about time the Bears passed up the Packers as a better team. Plus do the Packers have room to give Mack $23.5M a year when Rodgers will be making $33.5M a year? That's a ton of cash invested in just 2 players.

I was personally pulling for that to happen - going to the Pack. It would've financially strapped them and they'd have to give up a first however they would have simply wasted that pick on another marginal CB/safety.

Not every qb can be Brees/Brady/Rogers, most qb's need a legit target to throw to and help other wr's windows get a little larger. Actually most arent/can't, especially young ones.

Cooper not only saved the Cowboys season, but probably Garrets job and probably Dak's also.

Apparently Oak is just completely cash strapped b/c they said they weren't going to pay Mack, and saw a similar situation w/Cooper coming up this offseason. Maybe if you don't pay 100mil guaranteed to your HC that cash isn't a problem.

Or getting ready to shell out some big checks to the pinstripes over the move. Plus it is great for the owners, low price team with most players in their rookie contracts and a new city willing to shell big bucks for tickets. Seems like win - win for the owners.

Signed to the practice squad... basically, Peterman will be on the 90 man roster over the offseason. I don't get why this is such a big deal, his chances of making the 53 man roster next season isn't great.

Ahh yes, Peterman. For some reason I mix him up with a comedy character in Seinfeld. Seems fitting. It was told from the sidelines after his being pulled from starting a few weeks earlier for throwing 5 picks that when Josh Allen got hurt, he told the coaches "I got this!". He proceeded to throw a pick-six to lose the lead in the 4th quarter and add a 2nd INT for good measure in the span of four minutes.
