I analyzed every snap of his in 2015 to have someone to compare Teddy to, so I picked someone who I thought was slightly above average, which happened to be Cousins coincidentally xD. During that analysis, I don't remember seeing many of the problems I'm seeing now. He didn't strike me as such a head case. He didn't look as bad in big games. He might not have been winning them, but he wasn't completely sh*tting the bed like he has since midway through last year either. And it appears to be completely mental. He's got the talent, he just doesn't have the mental fortitude.

I think the Vikings damaged him more than he already was, and my prime suspect is Zimmer. He's getting into the heads of these QB's with his play it safe protect the football philosophy. Maybe even Teddy would have turned out to be a decent QB had he ended up somewhere else from the beginning. Bradford and Keenum both went on to be complete dumpster fires after Zimmer damaged them. I mean neither were all that great before, but they've been so much worse since. Bradford was so bad the Cardinals ate his $20m contract after 4 games. Even Sloter regressed a bit since coming over here from Denver where he was more aggressive and successful. We thought he was good here, but he was better there believe it or not, and he was just a very raw rookie.

Zimmer might in fact be like Jeff Fisher, a good defensive mind, but he ruins QB's lol.

The one thing I see, and someone can correct me if I'm wrong. Is that Cousins appears to be afraid of being hit. Brett Favre didn't do crap in game until someone knocked him on his ass. Once that happened it was like "oh yeah, I'm playing football." Attitude. Or as I used to say in high school "baditude"

You mean the Teddy thread that is 99% about his time with the Vikings? Whether it was 2017 or 2019, most of that thread is about Teddy's time with Minnesota. I made the right call there. Also, that's the general thread. We have 15 other Teddy threads over the past couple of years. Just as we have a general Cousins thread, as well as 15 other Cousins threads right now. Just kind of how it happens... People are obsessed with Vikings quarterbacks, good or bad.

We also need to start new threads for new seasons. Like in the draft section. Don't rename the 2017 draft thread the 2018 draft thread and then start adding 2018 draft info to the end of the 2017 on page 15, then 2019 starts on page 33. Lets not do that mmmkay tnx. New chapter/season, new thread

I won't release any hostages until these demands are met.

Yeah, I mostly do that already. If for some reason I didn't, it was likely to save myself some work. It's not like I have people lined up to volunteer their time to help with the board, so, trust me, a lot of things I do around here that people don't love has a lot to do with saving time. So, suck it, sir!

And why would he be scared to be hit? I get that no QB likes to be hit, but why would he be scared of it? That's odd, because that's part of the game. He just needs to brace himself for the hit and protect the ball! Take the sack and move along! That's 10x better than turning the ball over.

I want answers! Is it the play calling? Is it the OL? Are the WRs not getting open? Is it Cousins? Combination?

Did he really never have these issues, or are we seeing them now because we watch with a much more critical eye?

You've never wondered why you've never come across a Redskins fan who was upset he moved on? You've never wondered why so many laughed at us for signing him? You've never wondered why so many people are now saying "I told you so"? It wasn't all bitterness as we preferred to tell ourselves at the time. There was some truth to their criticisms.

I think it's fair to say he's always had a fair share of issues, many of which we get the displeasure of seeing for three hours on Sundays as opposed to a highlight/lowlight reel on ESPN or NFL Network.

Even reading through the Giants forums this week, fans more familiar with him don't see any difference; he's kind of always been this way: hit or miss and usually crumbles against tougher competition. Just wait a few weeks when I pull quotes from the Redskins fans. That's gonna be fun!

How are the Cardinals and Broncos doing this year? What about last year? You wonder why Bradford and Keenum struggled? Have you followed the drama/dysfunction in Washington? All three teams have SERIOUS issues, so let's be real about the situation as opposed to simply blaming Zimmer. Geez. These anti-Zimmer takes are getting beyond ridic.

Uh, what? Keenum had his career best year in Minnesota, and somehow Zimmer is responsible for "damaging" him?

And was Zimmer the one who delivered the hit on Bradford that caused his knee to swell up? Sammy was cooked ever since that Saints game, not sure how you can blame Zimmer for that.

It's just as Funky says, you're really going out of your way to pen narratives that point to Zimmer as being worse than he really is. I'm upset he's getting outcoached and we can beat good teams, but let's dial the nonsense back a little bit.

I had the same standards for TJack, Ponder, and Special Ted. I gave them all a chance before I started dog piling. Kirk is no different.
