harrison and rhodes were both effectively neutralized. rhodes may not be fully healthy...idk. that's the first time i can remember a whole game where smith is a complete non-factor as far as making plays.
there are some specific offenses...the rams being one....that require elite lb play to defend if you can't pressure the qb. pats and eagles are similar. if you don't have the type of lb then there needs to be a personell adjustment like adding another safety IMO.
there was no way i could see the vikes stopping the rams offense with the players on the field unless the front four could consistantly get to goff.
so, hile the vikes defensive scheme will serve them well enough in the regular season and perhaps within the division.....it's that one game against the rams or iggles or hopefully the pats in the post season where zimmer needs to make his hay.
it's the whole point. i think this offense is still too undermanned up front to believe it can be relied upon for 3-4 games in a row like last night.
Meanwhile we got to watch Treadwell f*ck up again and do his usual not much. And as others have pointed out, still no Iloka. WTF is wrong with this team and not being able to find ways to get the best players on the field? It's been happening since Joe Webb. By all means, keep trotting piles of sh*t out there though. Zim was supposed to have all these special packages for Barr and having 3 safeties on the field. What the hell is taking so long? Is this still preseason and he's afraid to tip his hand? Saving it for the more important opponents? We just played 2 pretty important opponents, with a 3rd one coming up, and Zim and the defense are still in preseason mode. 
Otherwise if you want a permanent personalized title, we can do that. I don't know if
