So true, so true. McCarthy sucks. I hope they keep him well after Rodgers retires.

The draft of Aaron Rodgers is the last time the Packers picked an offense skills position player with their first pick in a draft. That was thirteen years ago. Their first pick for the last 7 seasons in a row was somebody on defense. Just imagine if they were ahead of the curve and said defense was passe and said, "Our identity is our passing offense. The entire league's identity is passing offense. Our offense is the defense. Do you know who our Defense MVP is? Aaron Effing Rodgers. Rodgers is the best defense player we got. We're the Aaron Rodgers Show" and drafted offense their first 4 or 5 picks out of 7 packs and were aggressive in free agency on offensive picks? They'd have another ring.

Somebody at Reddit said that Aaron Rodgers is the force multiplier and they should just lean into that and go offense first because Rodgers elevates all people but its too late now, they've been stiffing him for 7 years.

Just got done watching the Cardinals/Packers game and man, Rodgers is just not the same guy this year. He had so many bad throws in this game, uncharacteristically bad, just like he did in our game. Last year I had wondered how the broken collarbone in his throwing shoulder would affect his throwing ability going forward, so yeah I'm starting to wonder if maybe that's the case. He had the leg excuse all year, but he said he was pretty healthy in this game, and he was still way off target on a lot of passes. He threw several bombs too and they weren't even close to being on target.

He only has 1 INT on the year and normally I'd chalk it up to him just being elite, but no, I think he's just been lucky. I mean he's smart and careful enough to keep the ball away from defenders, but perhaps too careful. Might be contributing to why he's been so inaccurate. He used to squeeze passes into impossibly tight places and I just haven't seen any of that this year.

His receivers haven't been helping him out either. A lot of drops in this game. And then that Crosby miss at the end. I mean I already knew they lost by 3, but I was unaware of how. Felt even better knowing it happened liked that. Crosby missed a game winner against us at the buzzer in week 2, and ofc he missed all those kicks against Detroit too, so there's 3 wins right there. Pukers could easily be 7-4-1 and sitting pretty had 2016 Crosby showed up this year, but instead they're still tied with the Browns at 4-7-1.

Although as bad as Crosby has been (75%), he's still better than Bailey (73%). Throw in Carlson's 1/4 and the Vikings are at 65% FG's for the year. Historically bad. We've only missed 1 PAT however. Meanwhile our opponents have only missed 4 FG's and are perfect on PAT's.

Now we wait to see how vikecycle rationalizes it.
