As Rodgers and McCarthy continue their slog through another potentially underwhelming season, it’s become impossible to ignore the crime against football that’s been perpetrated in Wisconsin over the past half-decade: The Packers have squandered the prime of the most gifted quarterback of the past 25 years.
Hmmmm where have I heard all that before? Someone around here has been saying it for 5 years now.
Rodgers has done his best to explain away recent comments that could be construed as shots against McCarthy and his staff, but it’s obvious that he’s frustrated with the state of the offense.
None of this is new!!! Is Rodgers a moron? Why'd he sign that contract already knowing all of this when he could have went to any organization he chose? Ohhh maybe McCarthy will finally be good this year?
Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reported Sunday night that tensions have started to mount in Green Bay.
And it just makes me laugh. Nothing but morons over there from top to bottom. They should be the NFC's version of the Patriots but it's taken them 10 years to figure out their HC is just a meathead. To most franchises, 2013 and 2017 would have been big clues.
and he didn’t enjoy seeing his friend Jordy Nelson get unceremoniously shown the door this past spring.
Well geee Erin, how did you expect them to pay you that record breaking contract that they knew was coming AND surround you with a decent supporting cast? Seriously how dumb is everyone over there? And you're telling me Rodgers doesn't have any say in the matter? If it's about money, then Rodgers can easily say, hey save a portion of my record breaking contract to hold onto that Nelson fella or maybe I think about playing for another team when my contract is up. They cut your buddy, THEN you signed the contract. Moron!
McCarthy made a big show this offseason of saying the offensive scheme would see sweeping changes in 2018. “Everything was open for discussion: every definition, every formation,” McCarthy said at the NFL owners meeting this spring.
Sounds like a desperate man who may in fact just be realizing he doesn't know what he's doing. Perhaps another clue of his incompetence? Has Belichick put any of his schemes on the table for review? What a fustercluck, and I'm enjoying every bit of it xD. Thank you Green Bay for holding on to McCarthy all these years. The entire NFC North thanks you. Maybe the entire NFC. I probably would have been done with football by now had the Packers been doing what the Patriots have been doing the past 10 years.
