Jordan Love is far from prime time which isn't the sole reason Rodgers got the extension, but it is definitely a reason. The GM and head coach didn't want to get exposed by this guy being shown to be a bottom 5 starter in the league at best if he got the gig. If the fanbase went from watching the back to back MVP QB go 39-10 in the regular season in the last 3 seasons to sub-Ponder QB play, they'd all be baying for Gutekunst's blood and wondering what the hell the head coach and QB coach and offensive coordinator were doing for years with a first round draft pick to look that bad. He's not an NFL QB, just how it is, and they know it. Just like how Zimmer knew Spielman stuck him with a lemon with Kellen Mond. They don't need to see him in any more games they've seen enough.

Before the victory over the Cowboys it was, "Put Jordan Love in and see what we got." Look, you don't think the management and coaches realize this guy bombed out? I was hoping for 8 or 9 Packers losses in a row, Jordan Love finishing out the season with nothing but losses, 3-14 season with Aaron Rodgers out the door. Now they've got a sign of life and it freaks me out.

they're still only 4-6 with the Titans and Eagles up next....besides having the Dolphins and Vikings (and whatever we think of the Bears and Rams) before the season's over......they could easily be 4-8 going into December

They can't afford to bench Rodgers. They can't afford to cut him.

I kind of want Erin to stick around. Me thinks father time is catching up to him. If he retires, that relieves a ton of cap burden in Green Bay.

This is shaping up to be a very satisfying season. Where we usually end our year after the regular season then are only left with rooting against the Packers in the playoffs. So for now I will just enjoy rooting for their misery to continue. Keeps them trolls out of our hair and off our board...lol.

If being a Viking fan was easy ~ everyone would do it.

This coming offseason should be fun. Who controls GB, because I think either Aaron leaves or retires if they do not get rid of the GM. That is so Aaron can control who GB gets.

Talked to one life long Packer fan on Friday, they were rooting for Aaron to leave at the end of last year.
