THE WAIT IS OVER.
It’s 6:22, the start of the 2018 NFL season is upon us. It’s been a great offseason. I’ve had the opportunity to get away from football and I have not had the usually pattern this offseason. I’ve stayed away from NFL news, Viking news and even engaging in talk with my fellow Viking fans. Heck I have even put off making the Velspar Champion Beer Mug. SORRY BRICKVIKE I will get it done and sent to you ASAP. Yeah, as I pointed out it’s 38 minutes in front of 7 o’clock. It still sucks and I have largely forgotten about it as you have as well. That could explain why the excitement of the new season just isn’t exciting. What the hell happened? We are in a position now of Superbowl or bust. Yep, it’s going to be a long year. Does it feel like 2010?
We been hearing it this offseason, the Vikings are one of the favorites to get to the superbowl. In seasons past that would be enough to get the purple blood flowing. Recent history would also tell us that things are not going to be good for 2018. Remember 2010? How about 2001? Sorry I’m leaning towards the pessimistic side of the street. Not sure I can stomach getting my hopes up. The 2018 NFL season is hear the wait is over. Hopefully when it’s all said and done we will wake up Monday morning Feb 4th to the headline The Wait is Finally Over…
It’s a new year and this year I’m going to offer another prize. The winner of this prize will be done by a random drawing. How do you get in the drawing? Well if you score in the top 10 in any given week you will get one entry into the drawing. The more times you get into the top 10 the more chances you have to win.
