Since VMB members are the only ones likely to be on here anytime soon, come on in and make yourself at home.
I've been thinking about making my own Vikings message board for a while now. After all, I have the worst-freaking-luck when it comes to my favorite Vikings sites shutting down. VMB was my THIRD message board to shut down since I've started the football talk thing in 2007-2008. I figured, if I am in charge of the message board, it won't go anywhere! How's that for ya, WAVF, Vikings.com, and VMB?! How ya like that?! lol
Nah, but for real, I think VMB was a great little community, and I'd hate for a lot of us to go our separate ways. I've seen people are already getting scattered around on other sites. I'd prefer to bring as many here as I can. I'll do my best to invite people over here when I can, and I'm going to encourage Just Me to do the same. As far as that goes, if you guys are on other sites right now and meet up with other members or have other former member's personal info, feel free to pass it on. Let's get people rounded up!
As I said in another section, I know this site is pretty plain Jane right now, but it'll improve. It'll take a bit of time, but I promise it'll get there.
Aside from all that, it's probably a LITTLE bit weird that so many of us are on these other sites now venting about VMB and whatnot. So, if nothing else, here is a place for everyone to kind of vent about that...without seeming like some kinda freakish weirdos!
Really, though, settle in and let the football talk begin!
Like VMB, I'd rather this be about quality as opposed to quantity (although both would be fantabulous!), so even if this starts out slow, hopefully there are a lot of good, intellectual discussions.

EDIT: Shooooooot. Looks like VMB will be up and running again. That's all good. If you want a bit more freedom and a fresh start, come on over anyway! Also, from what I gathered, a quite of few people didn't like how that was handled, so you might be one of those who doesn't really want to go back as your own little personal stance. Either way, feel free to stay or lurk once in a while!
